In line with the vision and mission of King Saud University, which focuses on providing exceptional education and producing creative research that serves society and contributes to building a knowledge economy, enabling the university to achieve global leadership and excellence in building a knowledge society, and based on the college's desire to achieve leadership in the region by preparing competitive, creative graduates and qualifying skilled professionals to provide emergency medical services, the Department of Accidents and Injuries at Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz College for Emergency Medical Services was established in conjunction with the university and college’s vision and mission. This department serves as a key resource to meet the academic needs of the college by helping students understand essential and advanced scientific concepts that assist in managing both minor and critical injuries. The department is also dedicated to spreading prevention methods for accidents and injuries through specialized publications and research, while physically preparing students to handle emergency medical situations.

The Department of Accidents and Injuries aspires to local and global leadership and excellence in education, scientific research, and community service by utilizing its scientific capabilities to support the academic journey of students across various disciplines within the college. The department’s vision is aligned with the vision of Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz College for Emergency Medical Services, which is derived from the university’s vision.

Mission

The Department of Accidents and Injuries at Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz College for Emergency Medical Services aims to offer advanced courses in the fields of accidents and injuries to the college's students. The department also conducts scientific research in the field of accidents and injuries and promotes methods of prevention to serve the community. The department’s mission is derived from the mission of Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz College for Emergency Medical Services, which is based on the mission of the university.

Objectives

The Department of Accidents and Injuries at Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz College for Emergency Medical Services aims to establish a distinguished scientific foundation in injury sciences by offering outstanding courses and academic programs that meet international academic standards.
