Scientific Research Unit - An Overview
It is one of the administrative entities in the college, organizationally linked to the College's Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. The unit is responsible for enhancing the college's research efficiency and effectiveness by promoting participation and collaboration with educational and research institutions and community organizations at the local, regional, and global levels. It also works on developing new, innovative research areas in rare and distinguished fields.
Objectives
- To spread and activate the steps of scientific research among the college's members.
- To encourage and provide a research-friendly environment and develop the scientific research system.
- To encourage researchers and students to attend conferences and seminars and present their research.
Tasks
- To develop the research capabilities of the college, represented by faculty members, researchers, and students, in the fields of scientific and applied research.
- To establish agreements and protocols for scientific cooperation with local, regional, and global educational and research institutions.
- To develop the research strategy and plan, and set mechanisms for implementation at the college and related units.
- To develop and apply a system for improving and measuring performance in the fields of scientific and applied research.
