Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz College for Emergency Medical Services, which is one of the first specialized colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & the Middle East to meet the growing need for specialists in emergency medical services.
The Council of High Education approved on its 44th session dated 4/7/1430H (June 27th, 2009) the importance of restructuring of colleges commenced placing the Faculty of Emergency Medical Services. This was succeeded by the approval of the King Saud University Council on its 9th session dated 18/7/1430H (July 11th, 2009) for establishment of the College of Emergency Medical Services. Then the addendum of the Council of Minsters (No. 4464/ M B) dated 28/5/1431H (May 12th, 2010) stating the modification of college name to Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz College for Emergency Medical Services.
The Administrative Affairs of the college started by the HR Unit in 1432H~2011G followed by the communications unit, & due to the expansion the "Dean, PSCEMS" advised to appoint the title "Director, College Administrative Affairs" in 1434H~2013G. The College Administration Affairs is responsible for many of the services necessary to support the core mandate of P.S.C.E.M.S., which is to provide services in administration and College financial matters. The Administrative Affairs has oversight for the College’s Recruiting & Human Resources Management, Budget & Finance, and Projects & Facilities services. The units serves as the key administrative contact with King Saud University Administrative Offices.
