Vice Deanship for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research - An Overview
It is the entity responsible for managing the college's educational, academic, research, administrative, and financial affairs. It issues decisions required by the work process in accordance with the regulations and policies of King Saud University and higher education.
Objectives
- Enhance the academic and practical level of students and graduates of the college.
- Align the college’s academic plans with labor market requirements.
- Promote the concept of social responsibility and spread the culture of the knowledge society.
- Build strategic relationships with government entities and establish partnerships with the private sector.
- Develop self-financing sources for the college and control expenses.
Tasks
- Follow up on the implementation of decisions issued by the University Council and the President of the University concerning the college.
- Chair the College Council and oversee the organization of its affairs and the implementation of its decisions.
- Supervise the progress of the academic process, implement its plans, develop academic programs, and apply regulations and systems to achieve the best academic, educational, and research environment for students.
- Establish academic links with educational institutions inside and outside the Kingdom through twinning and scientific partnerships.
- Supervise the college's strategic plans and budget, and follow up on their implementation.
