Community Relations Unit - An Overview
It is one of the administrative entities within the college, organizationally linked to the College's Vice Deanship for Development and Quality. It is responsible for enhancing community partnerships by planning, organizing, and implementing community activities, showcasing the college's academic and research outputs, and creating a distinguished image of the college and its vital role in serving the community.
Objectives
- Foster a sense of belonging to the community and motivate participation in community service.
- Strengthen the ties between the college and the community in emergency medical services.
Tasks
- Identify and approve volunteer work, as well as services that the college programs can provide.
- Encourage college members to participate in community service activities.
- Organize and document meetings, seminars, lectures, and training courses that contribute to community service and are carried out by the college.
- Prepare a report on community service activities and submit it to the Vice Dean for Development and Quality.
- Measure community stakeholders' satisfaction with the community services provided.
- Contribute to the continuity of volunteer and social service activities that originate from the college.
