QUALITY AND DEVELOPMENT UNIT
Development and Quality Unit - An Overview
It is one of the administrative entities in the college and is organizationally linked to the college agency for development and quality and is assigned responsibilities related to the application and control of quality, accreditation and academic evaluation and the dissemination of its culture among college members. It also works to activate measurement and statistics processes for the level of performance in the college, analyze data and extract results about the reality of performance in the college, and motivate faculty members to participate in excellence awards competitions inside and outside the university.
Objectives
- Promoting the culture of quality, its procedures and mechanisms for achieving it.
- Working to ensure the quality of academic programs.
- Activating the role of administrative units supporting quality assurance and developing administrative work.
- Preparing academic programs for local and external accreditation.
Tasks
- Following up on performance indicators for student learning outcomes and submitting them to the college administration and academic departments and submitting proposals to improve learning outcomes.
- Following up on the implementation of the college's strategic plan.
- Documenting the results of auditing and reviewing the application of the quality management system in the college and submitting them to the Deanship of Quality.
- Preparing periodic reports on performance levels and beneficiary satisfaction in each activity.
- Following up on the periodic procedures of the academic accreditation cycle.
