Student Rights Unit - An Overview
It is one of the administrative entities in the college, organizationally linked to the Vice Deanship for Educational and Academic Affairs. The unit is responsible for supporting students' rights based on principles that align with the regulations and policies of the university. It aims to foster a culture of justice and fairness among students, provide necessary consultations, and inform them of their academic rights, helping them obtain these rights through official procedures.
Objectives
- Establish principles of justice and fairness as a fundamental pillar in building an ideal community within the college.
- Support students' rights based on regulations and university policies without conflicting with them.
Tasks
- Investigate and resolve complaints and grievances submitted by students.
- Promote awareness of student rights and educate students on how to access them through official channels.
- Coordinate between the unit and relevant university entities to facilitate and regulate the unit’s work.
